Meet Savannah Coffey, LMFT

 Texas and South Carolina

Hey, I’m Savannah, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and lover of all things reality TV (especially 90 Day Fiancé), DIY-ing,  country music, fireworks, and Crocs.  Ever since I can remember, I have been curious about other people, particularly about how they came to be who they are. There’s a story that my dad always tells about how he found me, a spritely 4 year old, at the neighbor’s house (who we had never met at that point) just chatting their ears off and asking them every question under the sun ranging from who they were, what they were doing in this house, and their favorite kind of soup (big soup girl over here). And that’s what I want to do with you; I want to know who you are, what makes you tick, what fears and dreams you have, and help you uncover who you truly want to be.

I first want to acknowledge the courage that it takes to even get to this step –  seeking out the help that you need. It’s a step that many people do not take. So, like a magnolia flower, you are one of the brave ones.

Because of this, I know that you are here with a purpose… to find out if counseling with me is the right next step for you.

So, let’s find out.

Are you someone who…

  • Never goes a day without worrying?

  • Has racing thoughts?

  • Struggles with sleep?

  • Is dealing with relationship difficulties?

  • Is going through a season of major change?

Are you looking to…..

  • Increase your self-awareness?

  • Experience personal growth?

  • Learn techniques for mindfulness?

  • Discover how your lifestyle habits impact your sleep?

  • Learn coping skills that actually work for you?

Savannah Coffey, LMFT

You’re in the right place.

Through my therapy practice, I help adults, just like you, find the solutions they are looking for. I use a strengths-based, solution-focused approach in our sessions.

I believe that you have natural gifts, strengths, and abilities that might have been hidden for a while –  that simply need to be called out and utilized. Once you recognize and use them in an effective way, you’ll be in a better position to take on the challenges that life throws your way. Because if you’ve been around long enough, you know that challenges are ahead.

My Values and Practice

As an empathetic therapist, my practice is deeply rooted in core values that guide every aspect of my work. Empathy forms the foundation of my therapeutic approach, allowing me to understand and connect with your experiences deeply. I strive to create a space where you feel truly heard, validated, and understood.

Respect helps to foster my relationship with you, my client. I honor your unique journey, perspectives, and values. I firmly believe that fostering an environment of mutual respect is essential for building a strong therapeutic alliance. No matter your background, respect is essential.

And finally, authenticity. I aim to be genuine and transparent in my client interactions, promoting trust and openness. What you see is truly who I am. Sometimes, authenticity even means throwing in a cuss word, now and then, when it’s needed (because that’s just who I am).

I wholeheartedly embrace cultural sensitivity and diversity, creating a safe and inclusive space where you can explore your unique experiences and find support in your journey toward healing and self-discovery. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and enjoy working with people from all walks of life.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my therapy services. It is an honor and a privilege to be considered as your potential therapist. I understand that seeking therapy is a significant step, and I appreciate your trust in me to accompany you on your path to a healthier you.

My commitment to providing compassionate and effective therapy remains unwavering. I am dedicated to creating a therapeutic space where you feel supported, understood, and validated. Your well-being is my top priority, and I will work diligently to help you navigate the challenges you may be facing. I believe in the power of therapy to foster personal growth, resilience, and positive change, and I am fully committed to walking alongside you on this transformative journey.
